The next chapter of weight health is being written by people like you.
Retatrutide is an investigational once-weekly medicine that activates three metabolic receptors at once. In a phase 2 trial, the highest dose produced an average body-weight reduction of 24.2%. It is not approved yet — and the research deciding its future is screening participants now.

The science
Most weight medicines act on two receptors. This one acts on three.
Retatrutide (LY3437943) is a single molecule engineered to activate GLP-1, GIP and glucagon receptors together. The first two are familiar from existing weight medications. The third — glucagon — is the part researchers believe may add something the others cannot: more energy spent, rather than only less taken in.
Quiets appetite
Signals fullness to the brain and slows how quickly the stomach empties, so meals satisfy sooner and grazing fades.
Improves fuel handling
Influences the insulin response and how the body stores and uses fat — helping energy go where it is needed.
Raises energy burn
Increases calorie expenditure and works on stored fat, including the visceral fat wrapped around organs.

Metabolic receptors targeted by a single molecule
A 2023 phase 2 trial published in The New England Journal of Medicine randomized 338 adults with obesity to weekly retatrutide or placebo. Results describe group averages, not a promise for any one person — the trial was placebo-controlled, individual results varied widely, and phase 3 trials are underway to confirm safety and effectiveness. Retatrutide is investigational and has not been approved by the FDA or any other regulatory agency.

Tell us a little about you and how to reach you. Nothing is shared with a study site until you agree.
A coordinator calls
A short, no-pressure conversation about the studies near you, what they ask of participants, and your questions.
A screening visit
At a licensed research site: vitals, labs and a medical history review with the study team. Eligibility is confirmed there.
Begin — or step away
If you qualify and choose to enroll, visits are scheduled and supervised. You may withdraw at any point, for any reason.
Eligibility
Who these studies are looking for
You may qualify if
- Adults 18 and older
- A BMI of 30 or higher — or 27+ with a weight-related condition
- Willing to attend visits at a research site near you
- Not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
Likely not a fit
- Type 1 diabetes
- Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma or MEN2
- Another weight-loss medication or bariatric surgery in the past 90 days
- Significant kidney, liver or heart disease — each protocol sets its own rules
Every study has its own criteria and only the study team can confirm eligibility. Applying costs nothing, commits you to nothing, and takes about three minutes.

The Science ofLiving Longer.
Vital Life Therapy unites licensed endocrinologists, dermatologists, and cosmetic surgeons across all fifty states — delivering the latest peptide therapies for weight loss, skin rejuvenation, and systemic longevity.
The Peptide Laboratory
Medicine that speaks the language of your cells.
Peptides are short chains of amino acids — the precise signaling molecules your body already uses to repair, regenerate, and regulate. Our physicians harness them to target weight loss, skin health, and longevity at the cellular level, with protocols calibrated to your endocrine profile.
Cellular Signaling
Peptides bind to specific receptors, instructing your cells to accelerate repair, burn stored fat, or synthesize collagen.
Endocrine Calibration
Our licensed endocrinologists map your hormone panel and tailor peptide dosing to your unique metabolic rhythm.
Visible Restoration
Weeks to months of treatment yield measurable weight loss, renewed skin luminosity, and restored systemic vitality.
Weight Loss Peptides
Semaglutide · Tirzepatide
GLP-1 receptor agonists that regulate appetite and adipose metabolism under endocrinologist supervision.
Skin Rejuvenation
